Kussmaul Seed Co. Inc. is a family owned seed company, quietly growing since 1934. We remain an independent seed company by choice. While other family operations have chosen to partner up with somebody, we strongly feel that by remaining independent, we can offer a greater selection of genetics, as well as yield protecting traits. As an independent, every genetic and trait supplier in the industry is after our business, which, in turn, means that they are after your business. We conduct yield trials here at Mt. Hope, WI, and are constantly evaluating, testing and researching new products and technologies as they become available.

Products and technologies need to bring more value, yield, standability, quality or some other trait that increases our customers bottom line before we will introduce any new product to our portfolio. Kussmaul Seed Co. is not just selling seed, we are selling profitability.

Kussmaul Seeds sells their products through a channel of dealers, area managers, district managers and direct to farmers where no dealer network is set up. We ship these products to our customers by our own trucks and drivers where we can, from warehouses in Warren IL, Mt. Hope WI, Glen Haven WI and Bridges MT. Our hands on approach, from researching new possibilities on through to delivery to our customers, emphasizes our tradition of excellence to each Kussmaul customer year after year.
