What do we mean by the term, "Stacked Corn?"
This term is used to describe seed products with more than one technology trait. A single
trait might be Roundup or YieldGard Corn Borer or possibly YieldGard Rootworm. When
we offer two or more of these traits together in a single hybrid, this is what is called a
stacked hybrid.
Kussmaul Seeds is offering several stacked hybrids for the 2010 growing season. These
include hybrids stacked with Roundup and YieldGard Corn Borer, hybrids stacked with
Roundup and YieldGard Rootworm, and hybrids that are triple-stacked with Roundup,
YieldGard Corn Borer and YieldGard Rootworm (YieldGard Plus and YieldGard VT Triple).
Plus hybrids that have Glyphosate and Liberty tolerance as well as corn borer and rootworm
protection.
The double-, triple- and quad-stacked corn hybrids available from Kussmaul Seeds offer more
value, and more profi t to you, our customers. We have priced these exciting new combinations
so that they will bring even greater savings to the producer for 2010.
