K-600
A new conventional hybrid at 100 day maturity. This hybrid features a fixed ear type, averaging 16-20 kernel rows of high quality grain. Test weight is average- plus, husk cover is good, dry down is rapid, as husks open nicely, and disease tolerance is very good. Roots and stalks are both excellent, enabling good nutrient uptake and transfer through the plant, expect yields 6 to 8 Bu. better than Pioneer 38H69, with equal test weights.
SB-597RR/YGPlus
A new Triple Stack in the 96-97 day maturity range. Although we named this hybrid SB-597RR/YG Plus, it is not related to last year’s new release SB-597RR. This hybrid features Triple Stack protection, enabling yield to be limited only by fertility, management, and nature. Semi-Determinate ear style, allows a wide range of planting population. Plants start out fast, and stay healthy all the way through harvest. This will make a very good companion hybrid to SB-492RR/YG Plus.
SB-503RR
A replacement for SB-5501RR, only it’s a point or two wetter. This new hybrid is all about yield! It’s so healthy, it doesn’t need root or stalk protection to achieve those high yields that today’s economy demands. Good grain quality, above average test weight, semi-erect leaf angle on shorter statured stalks make SB-503RR a dream to shell. Excellent disease tolerance, ensure that there will be healthy, high yielding, and attractive plants at harvest time. Rapid dry down lets you start harvest earlier than other hybrids in this maturity.
SB-605RR/YGPlus
Do you have trouble with rust where you’re from? Here’s the solution! New SB-605RR/YG Plus has resistance to common rust, as well as having corn borer, roundup, and corn rootworm protection. You’ll be able t rest well, knowing that standability and plant health will be two problems that won’t affect you. This hybrid performs over a wide geographic region, and on various soil types. Big, girthy ears assure that the yield you need is there, an excellent choice for no-till or minimum till operations. Fast early growth means you can get started early.
SB-609RR/YGPlus
A full season Triple Stack that performs best when it is used as a full season hybrid in an earlier zone. Get excellent yield potential from long, slender ears that fill out the tips nicely, 14-16 kernel rows of high test weight grain, and husks that loosen early to aid in dry down. Plants will be on the shorter side, so this is not a silage hybrid. It performs best in the regions of Wisconsin and west through Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, and into Colorado. Stalks are protected with Bt, to ensure not only great standability, but also for yield punch. CRW protection has proven not only to protect the roots, but also to aid the plant in better nutrient uptake. Comparable yields to Pioneer 35Y62, but with better roots.
